In order to promote its coming into existence there shall be established a working group with the purpose of generating ideas which will serve as a basis for considerations and discussions directed ultimately at taking concrete steps in order to found a political party on the European level.

The Europarty should not be conceptualized according to traditional criteria, which may in a simplifying way be described as politically right or left, but ought to outline itself in a future-oriented way that absorbs current changes in the political mind-map of society and sets benchmarks for the future. Based on European humanist understanding the individual shall be the origin and purpose of political thinking and acting. Freedom and social orientation are therefore the ultimate guidelines for its fundamental positioning as well as specific decisions. To balance these values has been the essence of European politics. The Europarty shall be committed to make it an art, in order to promote highest possible quality of life within the European Union and to serve as a proven model for the possibility and the benefits of cooperation globally.

Those willing to join the Idea Generating Group should feel free to present any consideration and to make any constructive proposal or critical remark all of which should be directed at developing a political program as well as an organization. To put the project into practice is a Herculean task that will require overcoming countless problems and adversities. The goal, however, is certainly worth really undertaking an effort and striving for valuable contributions.

Forming part of the Idea Generating Group does not imply any obligations or duties. Joining it and leaving it is not subject to any formal procedure, but freely possible at any time. However, any contribution has to show due respect for other members of the group and the project as a whole. Mutual trust of the members of the group requires refraining from abusing contents and contributions expressed within the group.

Participating is possible by preferably joining the workspace/forum "THE EUROPARTY" on slack, by joining the non public group “THE EUROPARTY” on Linkedin, by sending an e-mail to contribute+comment@the-europarty.eu or in any other appropriate way according to the above mentioned standards. It would be appreciated, if ideas are presented by indicating the respective policy fields, to facilitate structuring the data.

Group members should at least make one contribution a month, may it be the presentation of a new idea or a comment. Moreover, they are welcome to allure future members.
